have had the privilege of meeting some really wonderful people during my brief tenure as Pvt. Chauncey Goodrich. I mention many on my page on how I got interested in Living History.  Here are more:

My first re-enacting friend is Clabert Menard.

Thanks to meeting Sandy, I also met Sue and Rob Rowell at Fort Ti.

And then there is the lone trekker, Larry Fiorillo aka Angus McClure, who lives to trek and treks to live.

Next, let me introduce Mark Hagenbuch aka Malcolm MacWilliam and Mike Slease aka Seamus MacWilliam. I met these two at the Fort Ticonderoga F&I Grand Encampment 2000, although we already knew of each other through the Mohican Press website. These two are prolific writers of an ongoing saga called the MacWilliam Chronicles, about a fictitious family that is involved in the F&I in Pennsylvania. These chronicles started to appear on the Mohican Press discussion board. They knew my name through this discussion board, and had visited my own website from a link there. As I was walking through camp at Fort Ti, I heard someone call my name Sarah; I thought he was talking to someone else, and then he called me Chauncey! Turns out it was Mike Slease. Not long after I met Seamus, I heard my name called again, and this time it was Malcolm. He too had recognized me from my pictures on my website. I enjoyed meeting them very much. If you read the summary of our Fort Ti 2000 experience , you will read about how some of us followed the 77th Montgomery Highlanders to a memorial ceremony–– Malcolm was one of that group. Seamus and Malcolm have been re-enacting for many years.

And then there is Sharon Ann Burnston, an expert on 18thC fashions and a wonderful woman, and I'm honored to know her.

And through his just plain friendliness, I met, at Strawbery Banke and again at the Fort at No. 4 after the Rangers' canoe trip, Robert Troisi, a Private with the Royal Irish Artillery.
