The
Lake George Tactical is an invitation only French & Indian War event held each year in
the Narrows on Lake George in upstate New York. For one week, warfare is conducted
in a fourteen square mile area of operations on land and water, twenty-four hours a day.
Preparations for this event take months of planning, and the
crewmembers who accompany the Captain on this expedition are experienced sailors and
proficient in 18th century tactical warfare. Weather, water and the wilderness are
all challenges to be conquered, and it is under these conditions that we fight for nothing
more than bragging rights and self-enrichment.
The following is a collection of logs, reports and journals from
both sides of the conflict. Any past participants with contributions to add are
encouraged to do so.
