We are lucky enough to have three separate accounts from the 2004 British Expedition to the Lake George Tactical. Please note that these three accounts differ somewhat, according to the "living history" of the author, based on his persona, his view of what was happening at where he was on the lake, what made an impression, and many other factors. It is well worth reading all of them, and pictures are sprinkled throughout them all with only minor duplication.
