Antler WhistleAt the 2004 Lake George Tactical, Lake Commander Capt. Quintan Kennedy (Wade Stoner) gave me a copper bracelet with copper and brass ornamentation in recognition of my role as Sgt. of the Rangers. In 2005, because I was Lieutenant of the Rangers this time, he gave me his whistle that he had hand-made out of an antler, fitted with a little piece of wood. He said it took him eight tries to get it right; i hope it doesn't take as long when he makes himself a replacement. But this is quite an honor for me, so I will use it with pride.

Brush and PickAt the Lake George Tactical this October 2005, a ranger from Hezekiah Dunn's Company of New Jersey Rangers joined us, John Bauer by name. John had wanted to go to the Lake for many years. He finally contacted Commander Quintan Kennedy (Wade Stoner) from the Lake George Tactical website, and wrote the following: "I have also read ALL of the reports and accounts of the actions etc. which I found most interesting, in particular the episode with Long Toe (who we are very familiar with)." We are so glad John finally got to the Lake, and seriously hope he brings more of his company next year. ANYWAY, John presented me with the pick and brush you see below, which, along with the chain, he had made himself! The body of the brush is made from horn. He said he wanted me to have it because he likes my website, and for that I say, people like you are the reason I do this, so thank YOU!! I am very impressed with it, as it shows a lot of work in many different crafts come together in one fantastic piece!! This is going to go on my shooting bag as one of my newest treasures and I hope John comes back to theLake George Tactical.
